Demon it has been mentioned by a few Fax fans how our RL FUNDING is being spent,I thought we would go full time but no,Maybe RM and the Board feel they should plan for later in the season to make our move in the middle 8s,we started very poor last year I don't think it will happen again.Our squad has no stars just workers who give everything

Thank you for answering without jibes or insults. I do think your season will depend on how Sheffield and London do. Logic states that the 4 FT sides should be the top 4. But it's a funny old game as we found out. Still the 8 players who have had operations should be firing on all cylinders come the new season

Mr Demon are you inferring I only posts jibes and insults?My specialist at the Clinic will disagree,I can be very serious when need be ,it has been suggested on more than one occasion how the Fax Bod are spending our cash , I am not privy to this information as Greg Florimos he is in the know .

The way I read it, was that we were carrying a number of injuries at the back end of the season. (7/8 needing ops. in the off season) That is no different to any of the other teams in the Qualifiers, I would imagine, but, for whatever reason, the others all handled their predicament better than we did.

Should be interesting seeing how next season pans out.

Totally agree Alan ,as I said you seem to be one of the few saner members of this Forum, a rarity for Leighers,nobody can say what injuries a team is carrying but it just seemed you ran out of steam at the wrong time.

The thing is, Leigh's signings have improved them, at least on paper.
The trouble is, even with the increased cap, you've let a number of decent squad players leave so it seems that, although you'll have possibly the best 17 in the Championship, beyond that you might be lacking depth and injuries & suspensions (which given the way you play are likely ) could seriously hamper your season

Leigh will be able to get them to gel as Salford have a mad owner who's created an atmosphere half his players co't get away from quick enough while at Leigh we have a track record of acting in the best interests of players and seem to have a good atmosphere in a settled dressing room.

Salford finished in the top 3 of the Qualifiers in an automatic Super League promotion spot last season, precisely where we're aiming to be.
