After a fantastic season and continued development at all levels, we are delighted that our open age first team have qualified for the end of season play offs via a third placed finish in the regular season standings. We are pleased to have secured a home tie in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Two play offs on Saturday 17th October 2015 kick off 2.30pm at Ledgard Avenue versus Dewsbury Celtic. We are calling on the loyal support of the local community to get behind Paul Wingfield and the boys as they compete for a place in this seasons Grand Final with a promotion place potentially at stake. It has been a solid year with progress being made on and off the pitch and a special mention to second team who have secured promotion and also helped launch a third team due to a high volume of players now wanting to play for the club again. Please come along and enjoy some LIVE rugby league at the finest facilities in the amateur game.

Andy I will more than likely be there , I like watching East's ,I love the facilities ,and always enjoy meeting you. As you always give an honest opinion and views on Rugby,hope to see you soon.

How long till they will be in the same comp as Leigh miners, used be a cracking game the Leigh derby under lights

Well I support both our amateur sides so I'll be there a week Saturday.

One of my younger grandsons plays fort Miners and his Dad who used to play for Leigh is part of the coaching team.

When Easts play Miners 'and I hope it's soon I have to support Miners or my son in law might cut off my allowance.
