The word "Team" and "Ryan Brierley" what ever next. The player who throws his arms if the ball is played the opposite direction to him, the player who more often than not doesn't get involved in congratulating the try scorer. Let him have his Superleague move, be moved to a full back and be back in the championship within 12 months.

I think its simple to look at the games in the qualifiers to look at the players who have turned up on the big occasion (as all these games are) Miller @ Wakefield, Chase @ Salford, Gaskell @ Bradford Brown @ Widnes. Our pairing has looked distinctly average (Championship Level). Would not be surprised if this is an area that is addressed when the transfer period re-opens. We need super league experience in 6 and 7 if we are to crack it.

And this is no way against Ridyard his level is championship and age is no longer on his side, great servant to the club, great lad but sometimes its time to move on.

I'm not sure about when you say they have turned up on the big occasion. Most of them are very inconsistant. Although I agree we do need SL experience @ 6 & 7 to match the SL outfits, but at this present time we have to go with what we have.

I don't know what you're getting at, but perhaps you should wait until Leigh have played Halifax, Bradford and Sheffield before you slate your current half-backs. I also don't understand how you can suggest that thus far in the qualifiers Chase, Gaskell and Brown have all shown up in big games. Chase has had one average game (Wakefield), one excellent game (Leigh) and one poor game (Bradford). With regards to Gaskell, he did nothing in the time he was on the pitch against Wakefield and didn't play in their win over us. Similarly with Brown, Widnes struggled for 70 minutes at Halifax and were beaten by KR last time around too.

I have seen 4 players in my team who regularly got speccys onto their feet at Leigh, each one had his critics waiting to slag him off. Woods, Drummond, Turley and Brierley. All very different players but all had something special.

Rangi (after years of being at Cas/Salford) wants to be with a team that have a chance of winning one of the 2 major trophies here in England.....or return to the NRL.
