Leigh Centurions Head of Rugby Derek Beaumont said: “These are very exciting times for our great Club and whilst we have enjoyed celebrating what the lads worked so hard for in retaining the Kingstone Press Championship League Leaders’ Shield, deservedly so, we now focus our challenge to the difficult task ahead.
“We have chosen this game as the all-pay game which we are sure our loyal fans will understand. The significant investment in the club, which has been rewarded with the back-to-back successes, needs to be minimised at every opportunity and we appreciate the understanding of this from our loyal season ticket holders who recognise the need for us to maximise club revenue by utilising the first and potentially toughest fixture.
“We thank all our season ticket holders in advance of their support and are sure they will be extremely appreciative of the Pro Rata discount that they benefit from which is equivalent to around a 30 percent discount to non-season tickets.
“The boys are appreciative of your support which has continued to reinforce my belief that it is worth investing in building a Super League team that this town wants and has proven it will support.”
