Leigh Centurions have announced their 19-man squad ahead of their Kingstone Press Championship Summer Bash fixture against Featherstone Rovers at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool on Sunday (5-15pm).Paul Rowley's Centurions extended their Club record winning run to 25 games with last Sunday's thrilling Ladbrokes Challenge Cup victory at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats to earn a quarter final tie at Warrington Wolves.
Now the Centurions switch their attentions back to the Kingstone Press Championship campaign and this eagerly awaited game against Rovers, which is a repeat of last season's Grand Final, is the seventh and final game of the Summer Bash spectacular.
Mickey Higham is in line to make his second Leigh debut following his midweek £50,000 transfer from Warrington and Matthew Sarsfield is included in the squad for the first time this season after recovering from an injury sustained in pre-season.
Higham, who first made his Leigh debut in 1999, has been allocated squad number 30. For the first time in many years, Leigh could potentially field an all-international front row if Higham lines up alongside Gareth Hock and Fuifui Moimoi.
