What does everyone rekon, I would keep it generally unchanged as I don't think we need to sign anybody:

FB - McNally / Platt
W - Pownall / Higson
C - Worthington / Haggerty
C - Armstrong / Sarsfield (Not a Centre but could cover here)
W - Kay / Pitman or Aspinwall?
SO - Ridyard / Reynolds
SH - Brierley / Foster
PR - Moimoi / Emmitt / Spencer
HK - Penky / Beswick
PR - Wilkes / Walker / Acton
SR - Dixon / Hock
SR - Goulden / Tracey
LF - Barlow / Hopkins

Out

Maden
Beaumont
Aspinwall or Pitman? Probably keep Pitman as he's younger.

Would use Reynolds or Pownall as cover for full back before Platt, Kay, Higson & Pownall would be obvious choices for wingers, see how Pitman does up at Barrow for a 4th option, definitely would keep hold of him. Rowley has said he sees Hock more playing at Prop then second row. If Beaumont gets his head sorted & does well this season at Rochdale I'd keep him. I do like Goulden, he always gives his all, has been playing very well & going full time seems to have done him a lot of good but he is getting on, if we're promoted will he be able to play against SL opposition week in week out? Would keep him but think we need someone young up & coming to rotate him with. Can't see w!g@n wanting to keep Hopkins (is his contract up this year?) so I'd get him signed up. Maden I think is only in the squad now for his testimonial & to offer a bit of cover in the reserves, Aspinwall is getting on a bit so could see him dropping to reserves next year. Think we could do with maybe another 2nd rower, loose forward or hooker, we've got cover everywhere but least in those positions. If we're promoted we get an extra £1,000,000 from the RFL not including the extra money from tickets, might as well use it, no sense in letting players go unless it's best for their development.

I just made a squad, not necessarily the positions they'll be playing in week in week out. Obviously your not going to sign 4 centres, you'll sign 2 centres and 2 second rows that can play centre etc..... same with wingers, as Higson can play wing, centre, back row.

if better players become available you move to sign them.... our strategy wont change, been the case for 2 years now and working wonders.

Aspinwall isn't a winger, he's a prop/loose now, wouldn't be surprised to see Goulden retire

Mooky you say WE when did last see Leigh play?As for your question as the Tipster rightly says you can never stay still if we do get promoted to SL we will in my opinion need around 5 SL standard players to compete and even if we don't get to SL the in 2016 it will then be obvious we need to elevate to the next level again and get the Players we need to get us to SL ,either way we would need new recruits.For me the Cup game against Salford will be so valuable to show us what level we are actually at now.

I couldn't agree more,that match will certainly find were we need to strengthen going forward.

Went against London and was bored, why? Who would you get rid of if you bring 5 in? You can't have a squad of 36 players, not sustainable!

You will have natural shrinkage, and I would expect to run with the remainder topped up by 4 world class players - also DR with Wigan to help them out
