Keighley Cougars kick off time amendment : Tue Jan 27, 2015 4:29 pm
Leigh Centurions can confirm that next Sunday’s warm-up game against
Keighley Cougars at LSV has been brought forward to a 2pm kick-off subject to RFL approval. This change has been brought about as the RFL requested the presence of several first-team players from the Centurions as part of the prestigious Rugby League Rocks event being held that evening in Manchester, starting at 6pm. Details are here: http://www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk/rugby_league_rocks Leigh Centurions Head of Rugby Derek Beaumont said: “I’d like to thank Cougars Chairman Gary Fawcett and the Keighley board for agreeing this switch. As a Club it is always our intention to support the RFL in marketing our great game and the Rugby League Rocks event should be a great occasion. “Hopefully as many our own supporters as possible will be able to attend the event after the game at LSV. “Head Coach Paul Rowley intends fielding his strongest available seventeen for the game and after two tremendous warm-up games so far against Wigan and North Wales Crusaders we are all looking forward to the game.” Ticket prices are as follows: Adults £10, Concessions £8, Under-16s £5, Under-12s free (when accompanied by an adult). For all friendly games at LSV in 2015 both the North Stand and West Stand will be open to spectators. The Club recognised that many of its core supporters prefer to stand on the North Stand at all games. The Club’s final warm-up game will be against Oldham at LSV on Sunday 8 Feb (3pm) before the Kingstone Press Championship opener against Bradford Bulls at LSV on Sunday 15 Feb (3pm). |
