It's because it's become the 'in joke centre' of RLFans.
It used to be a lively and entertaining forum with debate, these days it's the hardcore clique ganging up and ridiculing anyone who doesn't toe their little line, and endless boring jokes about who's round is it and acorn beer that no one outside of the same three or four members either understands or cares about.
Cliques kill forums, that's an established truism.

To be honest Mr C ,its a indicator of the well being of our game,we are in a league with no promotion or relegation, the club miss managed the sale of season tickets this year and people voted with there feet.
There is nothing new to debate, its all been done to death with no prospect of our game returning to the days of interest[promotion and relegation] the games dieing and sadly our leaders cannot see this.
Interestingly I was talking to a group of regular supporters in the pub after the Sheffield game and this forum cropped up in conversation. A couple of the lads and one of the girls said they used to be regular contributers (over 1000 posts+ each they claimed) but they now rarely bother to even view let alone make a post.
When I asked why, most of the reasons outlined by Scooter Nick were all offered, along with a consensus that it was over run with idiots willing to pull everthing out of context.
My view is I do not think it is anywhere as vibrant as it should be, where good numbers of members can engage in good healthy and reasoned debate.

Thats not fair that Nik. There maybe at bit of that but everyone has the right to post their views. Just because the majority (not just on this board) don't share your views on SL doesn't mean there is a clique. There are a group who do a lot for the club and use this forum to let a lot of us know what is happening. I have had my differences over the years with a few but I'm still here.

Well from what ive heard of you Nik you arent missed anyway we need a it of humour on here , to much moaping, the people you are talking about , or perhaps the Cliques as you say are die hard fans who watch the team home and away , never miss a game , and support EVERY FUNDRAISER ,AND EVENT there is not sit on their computer listening to match reports , thats probaly why you feel left out .
I personally do my best to raise funds for our club ,get more fans involved , im just glad they dont all think like you , the club would be in poor state .
Rather harsh considering Nik lives some distance away if memory serves me right. Must say that in over 10 years of coming on here, this is the quietest I've ever known this forum.
