LISA Fundraiser? : Mon Aug 24, 2009 8:45 pm  

Not sure how much was made for LISA yesterday but I wonder if a similar exercise could be made but for a shorter journey next year therefore making even more money for LISA. For example free coaches too Widnes. Next season hopefully we would be able to sell 8, £5 donated to LISA, coach sponsors donating x amount plus 10% for LISA should see over 1K raised on one sunny Sat/Sun or Thursday in 2010??

Ok my last post today.

When AJM was playing for Leigh I remember double decker busses pulling up every other minute to take us to a game at Saints from the old LUT Bus Station. They weren,t free there was a need for them.

I don,t mind freebies and I,m a season ticket holder but I do think you value things you pay for more so than something you get for free.

On the other hand we all like presents.

You're right there - buckets are very dangerous, someone might kick one!!

The home club should pay for the away travel to their stadiums

Simple as

All Championship clubs should be aiming at a 50 % travelling support

This allied to some serious marketing of the clubs and the comp by the RFL [ with every club getting at least 1 home TV match per season ] would result in a " Vibrant , competitive and worth winning in it's own right competition "

Playing a home game every other week might be a start then start looking at the away side of it
