Was at Halifax today and was disgusted by the leigh players however I was even more disgusted by the little boys who continued vile chants aimed at the Halifax fans ...
A) I dont like defending my own supporters and trying to justify a load of children who cant hold their drink...(yes the same ones as away at sheffield)

B) if it hadnt been for other Leigh fans having a laugh with other Halifax fans you would have got a battering ...you are childish kids who do Leigh no favours whatsoever.....

I love the singing and banter but you take it to far sometimes and comments by older Halifax fans that it is spoiling their day do Leigh no favours....we are already hated by rugby league media so what do we do .......
If only you directed your anger to the drivel that was served up today by our so called passionate players...

Excellent post and I totally agree, their chants were disgraceful, the constant use of foul language was uncalled for.
It does the game no good and anyone attending for the first time would seriously be put off about returning. Leigh were totally outclassed on the field so the childish, so-called fans start to take out their frustration on the opposition fans with verbal attacks.

Must say that the few Leigh fans I chatted to at the back of the stand were a credit to the club. The kids need sorting out though.

you wont hear it if your standing more than 50 metres away they arnt a big group...

nice to hear that we arnt all tarred the same...
you were excellent today infact awesome so credit where credit is due...

exellant game today didnt hear the chanting from the fans but it sounds by posts on here to be unplesent some good banter which is the good thing with rugby both sets of fans can stand together and have a laugh and enjoy a pint and the rugby on offer.

i dont think leigh were that bad today started very commited and played some good stuff at times and when the game was up the players were still trying scoring 2 of the 3 tries in the final quarter great effort today.

although have to say hobson hasnt changed much still having a pop at anything that moves.

Only if it moves near enough to him, within two five minute spells!

isnt it funny how i get a lot of stick for my views on here .....but the silence is deafening on this subject???? strange????
