Just looking at the way the middle 8's will work fixture wise and basically this is what fixtures we would get
1st in Championship
4 home games (3 v Championship Teams and 1 Super League Team)
3 away games (3 Super League Sides)
2nd in Championship
4 home games (3 v Super League Teams and 1 Championship Team)
3 away games (1 Super League Team and 2 Championship Teams)
I would rather play 3 Super League teams at home as i think we would have a better chance of beating them and also the gates would be far higher and would be significantly more income for the club!

Its an interesting debate for sure. Both have their pros and cons. My vote would be top spot as we have to be confident then of getting the 8 points at home and then one win away from home would almost certainly guarantee you top 3 and SL.
Personally i think we will get 12 or 14 points either way !

Would rather finish top, if that gives us home games against 2nd and 3rd in the Championship. Gives us a better chance of finishing top 5.

Well it helps me understand the chart yes thanks.
As for my preferred finishing position I’m with Reffy lets top the division and then sod the calculations, formulas and the Million pound game, lets top the Middle 8’s as well.  |

After the super 8s has finished, the teams who finish 4th and 5th play off for the Million pound game which is
meant to be worth a million quid and will be the 4th team who will be promoted to superleague. |
