When did we last win a match by scoring fewer tries than the opposition? Has to be a good sign for the future!
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

As I said, umpteen times, last season.

Luckily, Ratchford has done this. He looks like Hodgson in his pomp.
Good on the lad
Neither glass half full or empty. Just a realist.

I hadn’t realised there had been numerous threads about how important a consistent goal kicker is. What were the main attributes suggested, and how would one acquire those?

Wakefield outscored us in tries at their place last season. We have won a few games under price having scored fewer tries. Probably due to us rarely turning down an easy 2 points in the opposition 20.

Scoring fewer try's and winning also worked for Castleford against us last year perhaps it's the way forward?

Whilst they seem to be cherry picking the best aspects of our game with better defence and more ball handling in open play, perhaps we can copy Rugby Union in this respect. Ultimately we may generate column inches in the Daily Mail, see us ditching mushy peas for a sponsorship deal with Waitrose asparagus tips....the world would indeed be our lobster

We need to introduce the full back kicking duel as well. The joy of seeing the full back hoofing the ball upfield only to see it returned to the exact same spot by the opposition can’t be underestimated.
