He isn't playing 2nd row though, he's playing 13 i.e. 3rd prop, in the same way that Jason Clark does when he comes on, or Westwood when he's not throwing his head at Frenchmen.
If Walker comes on to the bench this week, and Westwood was available, then I would have dropped Tasi too, the ban has meant Tasi keeps his place. Lineham & Atkins were dropped because we had quality replacements in Mamo and King, Price clearly doesn't think we have that for that role - Sita isn't getting a look in and there's obviously reasoning behind that as far as Price is concerned
The only other options I'd suggest to that role would be Sita or Pat Moran, who hasn't played a first team game I don't think despite being in the squad for years. Our prop / 13 options are Hill, Cooper, Philbin, Clark, Westwood, Tasi, Sita, Moran..... I'm struggling after that.
The other option I guess would be to put Hughes in that role, as he'd probably play a similar game to J Clark, but he's doing pretty well these days playing wider. Or BMM, but I'm not sure he'd roll his sleeves up enough?
