If this deal goes ahead then it will be very hard for Superleague to compete with domestic rugby union for players and exposure. A £220M investment for 25% values the RU Premiership at a staggering £0.88Bn.

It's just the type of investment that RFL is desperate for. CVC have a track record of success making £8Bn from F1.

It's a extremely bad investment.
Sure. Cvc made 8bn. But that was from the sale of f1 to liberty media.
Cvc massively over valued f1 at the time and paid too much. Which forced Bernie ecclestone too massively inflate the fees for go promoters. Which in turn increased the ticket prices too extortionate prices. Cvc always operated in debt why in control of f1. And Bernie had too bring that debt down. Which he had done. It's Bernie making the shrewd deals that had escalators in it that made f1 financially unviable too investors. Look at the floor that was cvc looking too float f1 on 2 stock exchanges. It never worked in a way that they could make money
In reality. It Will be a massive negative for the sport and will do nothing but raise ticket prices and devalue the sport.

At the end of the day cvc will pump money in. Expect a return. And if the return doesn't come. Inflate prices before selling off
