Suggests he is due some test results this week which will determine the strength of his previously injured knee to his good knee. Talks about maybe making that start of the season, but reading between the lines I think that's unlikely.
Would we expect the odd game for Rochdale before he is thrown in to SL action? Not sure he did that last time so perhaps not.
Either way, I'd rather he didn't play a part for the first couple of months if it meant his knee would get progressively stronger as a result, but I'm no expert on rehab.
