What I can remember, and I think that it was as a result of that try, was my watch strap breaking whilst celebrating and then chipping a tooth whilst trying to bend the clasp back (with my teeth).

I was only 4 the last time we beat them in a final.
I remember the circumstances and venues for a lot of the defeats but not too sure on the years

Then a spanking in a regal troph final just after the Reebok had openend in the 1990"s but memory is fading here because i had discovered booze by that point.
Its amazing that i remember things a lot clearer from before the time i could get served in a boozer. I am sure there were others but the years have taken their toll.

It was 1988
It was against "The rest of the world" Warrington played in the final not Wigan

The final of the 9s was 24-0. Kept up Tony Barrows record of never losing at central park.
