Well. The Guardian reports that Thompson, Brown & BMM could be fit for this Friday.
I'm finding this very difficult to believe. Either a miracle or two or we are playing tricks!

Fit or not why even play them.

I'm not sure to what extent Brown's withdrawal was precautionary. He certainly looked to be in discomfort after he scored but I saw him take his place on the touchline for the second half. Thompson looked to have taken one to the ribs and was really struggling.

The more players that we have available for Friday the better as it opens up options to rest bodies ahead of the semi final. Hopefully Louis Johnson will get another chance this week. It was also stated in the Guardian that Akauola may be back in contention and Pomeroy may well get a game either in the second row or the 3/4 line.

I would keep Thompson and BMM out of the firing line, they both looked shot on Saturday. What's the point in playing them vs Wakey when we can have a backrow of Livett, Hughes and Westwood, with Pomeroy on the bench as cover? I get the impression BMM needs some sort of surgery, so i'm sure a week off wont cure him, but might make him able to make a bigger impact vs Saints?

I suspect BMM does need surgery, he seems to be limping after almost every tackle.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Getting really sceptical about statements made that x is in with a shout.
Brown, BMM, Thompson look nowhere near ready - it's touch and go for the semi.
Be surprised if any of them play this week.
Concerned about them playing when not fully fit.
You're right - BMM needs an operation.

I'd like to see Moran, Luis and Akauola playing with Bennie rested and George to 13.

Wakey will just about get a team together. They are battered with injuries.

I'm hoping we rest as many of our top players as we can.
