I don't think long term injuries & injury prone players were as well received when their name was Gary Wheeler or the Aussie prop who came over injured in 2016 & played about 20 minutes all season. Mitchell Dodds i think his name was.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Dodds, yes he missed a few opening games, but getting a double leg break vs Catalan was plain unlucky.

Yes that's twice his name has come up for injuries. There was nowt wrong with him till he double snapped the leg.

apart from him missing pre season and the first three months of the season, after getting a pin put in his hand the day after the NRL grand final.

Unfortunately for Dodds he just seems like one of those players that suffer with injuries.

Had some pretty serious knee issues before he signed for us, joined us with a wrist problem, broke his leg and still hasn't featured for Brisbane because of knee issues.

Don`t think that we have heard the end of this.

Suspect both sides will eventually settle on an agreement.

There were similar negotiations with Josh Charnley before a deal was concluded.

Very wary, with regards to Eastmond, with the time he has been away from our game, whilst Charnley only missed one season.
