With all the mist from Toronto and the cup draw....we seemed to have overlooked we play our arch enemy this weekend.
Looking like a full squad minus the long termers.
I can't wait for this game. This is the marker...it's more important to win this than any other. The psychological edge for the returning fixtures is massively important.
I've not been so tummy nervous about a game since May 1990.

Lets hope they don't take us noisy neighbours too seriously on Saturday. But to tell you truth, I cannot see it!!!

What would you personally take from this weekend.
We have won 10 and history dictates we are due a loss at some point.
We have Wigan twice in the space of 2 weeks.
This weekend could make it 11. Next week 12 and the Wigan challenge cup match to make 13 wins in a row.
Somewhere alongthe line. Our incredible run had too end at some point. But where. And which will be the better pill too swallow???

Well, Wigan have Saints and it would be very easy for Wire to simply grant Widnes this status as 'arch enemy', but they really don't currently provide much in the way of serious competition right now. All the more credit to any Wire fan who puts The Pies in this category, as they are, indeed, serious competition. On a more important note it would be nice if we got a crowd appropriate for this major clash. Is this our first cup tie against them since the 2011 QF at the HJ?
