I notice they have removed Rugby League from the header to fit the commonwealth games on there, but Union is still on, if that doesn’t confirm the bias against League I’m not sure what else does. I have made a complaint to them for all the good it will do.

I also find if I look at the BBC sport website in different geographical locations it disappears all together.

I guess they think more people are interested in the commonwealth games than RL, and they are probably right.

So the Hearns can give promoting the Challenge Cup a go. It may be cringeworthy stuff but so is Big Brother and everyone seems to talk about that.

Yeh I get you can do that, but what a peed me off is the change they made by leaving Union up, why remove us and not them, as I said biased.

Perhaps union was just a letter too few and six was required to fit the new header.

I'll give you a few clues, pal

6 Nations. Force feeding of this 5h1te to anyone who'll listen.
The BBC / printed media/internet love it, as it gets them bums on seats/papers bought/clicks

SL has teams with attendances of 3500 from the likes of Salford/Wakefield. Guinness Premiership games will get 3 times that, and that's the poor teams.

People who don't normally watch sport, will tune in, simply because everyone else is. They don't want to miss out, so they follow like sheep.

I beginning to sound like a stuck record now, but it's MARKETING. The RFU
brought people in, after it went pro, and have sold their product BRILLIANTLY.

We've brought in fat Nigel Wood, and given Wembley tickets to Michael Parkinson and Bernard Cribbins .

We're WORLDS behind, and it's only going to get worse.
The dropping of RL from the Bee's banner on the reports page, is merely the tip of the iceberg.

Get Hearn in NOW. He knows what he's doing.

He's not got darts, boxing or snooker onto the bbc sports home page ;-)

Resize your browser - RL is there. It just gets missed off when you narrow the page (together with Tennis, Golf and Athletics). Least it does in Safari.

But he has got darts onto ITV4 virtually every week, and likewise snooker , on any channel that'll have it. They may be back water channels, but it's constant exposure. There's boxing appearing more and more on mainstream TV. A decade ago and less, there was NONE.
Hearn is a mover and a shaker. We need him quickly, otherwise, RL will become even more of an irrelevance to the general public, let alone web editors.

His dad got the whole of the country OBSESSED with snooker in the mid to late 80's.
Young Hearn got the extra publicity for darts a few weeks back, with the walk on girls "controversy's. No such thing as bad publicity.
