Whilst not defending him, I thought he was guilty of trying too hard last night, in the first half.

If he doesn't outpace the Hull centre and chase back on that kick through, Hull go 18-0 up and our comeback looks a lot more daunting.

We were trying to have the "big play" or the "money ball" with him involved. This changed in the second half ... but he was still very much involved.

Excellent may be a bit OTT but I agree he was much better and has a good pair of hands which cope very well with the sometimes awful passes he receives. He took the line on as well a lot more and although didn't break through it is a good sign and an improvement. There is a good player in there come on Tyrone step up to the oche and show us what you got

Since his release at the end of this season has been told to me....
I can't but help think his time at Wire isn't far off a rehab process for him. A steady Eddie to peak for a nrl return at our expense while lining his pockets in the meantime.

The problem with that scenario is that he left a close to bottom NRL side where he wasn't first choice halfback. So where exactly do you see him going to in the NRL? I genuinely can't think of a side where he'd be first choice halfback.

I hope he comes good for Wire, because when he's at his best he's a very good player. If what I've read on here is right, it would seem that he's not showing much of a running game, which is odd given that was his main strength (he played a lot of full back for the Titans and looked pretty good there).
