Good weather helps a newly formed side try a few passes/moves etc. with more confidence. If there is a mis-timing of the pass then there is a higher chance of re-gathering the ball again in dryer conditions.
Also, I'm fairly certain that a recovering knee injury, in the case of Roberts, will be better supported on dryer ground and therefore, hopefully, Roberts will run with more confidence.
Remember, we were only 8-6 down at half time and well in the contest until the last quarter. I'm in the 'be patient/positive' camp and believe things will turn around soon-ish with less mistakes and easier opposition to try ouar new tactics and game-plan out.
