Re: Shirt Launch : Fri Dec 01, 2017 7:38 am
Not many people will agree, but I get both home and away shirts each year regardless of the design / colors. Like them or hate them I'll have them on each game day because I want to show that i'm part of the team (allbeit a rounded middle aged balding member of the supporting team) and I'll continue to do so until I turn my toes up.Everyone is entitled to their opinion, obviously, but using an example of my amateur days...when i walked out of that dressing room on game day I was focused on playing well and trying to get the right result, not on the colour of the shirt I was wearing.
To me, the shirt (regardless of its design and colours) shows who I follow, who I support and which club I love so its appearance means little. To me, the important bit is the meaning behind the shirt, not the shirt itself.
There have been better shirts released in recent years admittedly, but there have also been a lot worse.
