I expect a reaction vs Salford. Clark won't be playing, however I welcome the return of young Smith.
Salford have depth and quality in the backs, but come unstuck against teams with a quality pack. Wire will will run holes and lines right through them in the middle.
Yes it's hard to see this now because of the red mist...but we really aren't as bad as that score line. For the first 3i5mins vs Leeds, we were arguably the better team. Just wasted the efforts on a poor short field game.

My word what are you on?If you bet us against Salford you want sectioning.I will def be lumping on them as this shower is shot of confidence and spirit.

There is an excuse, not going to say it's right but there is a factor.... I'm probably going to get shot down for it.
At Newcastle Warrington and Wigan had a game of attrition. In comparison, Leeds and Saints had it easy...yeah they got battered, but also the pair of them never had a game. Had they had had a battle themselves they too may have shown some fatigue as we obviously did. Well IMO. I'm not saying we would have won, but had we had a better short field game and scored a couple from those five chances, the game would have been a little closer. I think we are better than that.
... and if you'd have scored 41 points, Wire would have won. Thanks Captain Obvious.
I dont mind getting beat (i've been watching wire for 40 years!), i dont mind being outplayed, i dont even mind having opposition fans telling us that its always our year, but i do object to a poorly coached, expensively assembled team with superb facilities that can't pass, tackle or come up with a single spark of rugby intelligence wearing my clubs colours.
This is not a Warrington team, a team that want to do their best, a team that are coached to fight for every single metre they gain......this is a bunch of badly coached individuals who have been assembled by a man who seems to think that he is indestructible. Well i for one, have had enough. He and his glove puppet Agar have to go...... Smith out

Spot assesment, 46 years for me and to have seen the bad times but as you say this is beyond bad.
What frightens me is the possibility of ending the year with Agar as caretaker coach and the prospect of the middle eights at best or, dare we say it, the bloody million pound game. But Smith has to go. Who else do you blame when those objectively quality players don't fire as expected? One 'off' game is acceptable from individuals but not week in week out. The creativity and confidence has been coached out of them it seems. Really irked me when Eddie said in commentary that we've not played with confidence all season, but, barring saints at home, he's right for once. Broke my heart to see Chris bleedin' Hill chipping a grubber through. He knows that's not his job as much as me and you could see the man was angry and clearly thinking "where's the stand off for this"? Set the tone for our Mickey poor attack all evening. I honestly wonder if they capitulate just because Brown is in the 17?
