What do we think about the blatant cheating that went on last night, although its a grey area (apparently) Josh Jones threw the ball at Danny Brough whilst he was on the floor not in play and won a penalty for interference, it also happened in two games last week as well, he should of been pulled for a knock on but Childs or the touch judge who was only 5 metres away wasnt interested, if it was me on the floor id be fuming and probably get myself 10 mins

Well said Brieley could have done it late on to the player at the side of him it looked as if he was going to throw it at the player then changed is mind and through it over the top well done to Brieley.

I noticed that at the time, thought Brierley acted with a lot more class.

All it takes is an e-mail sent round by the referee head honcho, by all means penalise if the defending player is making a nuisance of himself in the attacking line, but if he's on the floor at the ruck, its just ridiculous.

Needs to be nipped in the bud now and sharpish. Penalty against the cheating team then have the ref march them another 10m for dissent. Just to make a point.

Jones threw the ball forwards into Brough and as such it couldn't be construed as Jones trying to pass the ball to a team mate. Normally I would go penalty enough said, but for the blatant throw forward I would issue a penalty and yellow card to Jones.

The rule is already in place for such infringement. If the player is in front of play the ball and the half back passes directly into him then the offence can be deemed a 'deliberate forward pass' and a penalty can subsequently be awarded to the opposite team. It's not hard to enforce the rules when they are already in place.

I'm gonna play Devils advocate here and say If Danny Brough wasn't being a plonker and decided to quickly get out of the way like he should , then we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Yes but actually passing backwards, I don't think it's right though.

This one should have been seen as a forward pass, or knock on. Well at least we shouldn't see it happen again.
