Not sure if there is any truth in it but theres is a growing rumour this end that we are getting Brad Dwyer on a season long loan. I can't see it personally as when you let him go to London you ended up paying a fee to get him back when you had injuries.

Have any of you heard anything about it at your end?

I like the lad & he can bring a spark to the game when he comes on ,but it would leave us without a back up hooker, unless we are thinking of poaching a Wigan player.

There may be.
I posted earlier that Jullien was being rumoured to play a utility bench and was to cover hooker interchange.

I asked the question about out of favor BD.

I'm not surprised Brad Dwyer is looking for more money than we could potentially offer him. Fair play to the lad, we essentially want him to do 20 minutes while Clark has a rest or goes to loose.

He's a good player, maybe good enough to be commanding a starting salary and position somewhere else. I'm a little disappointed that we have no reserve / under 19's player ready to move in to that role if I'm being honest.

I'm a bit confused as to the rumour of Benjamin Julien playing hooker.

a big hitting straight up and down runner, second rower who has displayed very little in the way of passing of the rugby ball....its not something that stands out as being a master stroke....

the only back rower i can ever recall playing hooker would have been kevin sinfield but he had already played stand off so was reasonably versed in ball skills and to be fair he dropped into the position for the odd game due to injuries but never nothing more than a stop gap.

if Julien to hooker is real...I'm afraid there is some real mad poop going on at our club...........

Unless TS is planning on Clark doing 80 minutes. But even then, we would need to bring a hooker in as we have no one else to cover a Clark injury if Dwyer leaves?

Morgan smith more than held his own at interchange 9 at the back end of the season, good tackler and good distributer of the ball. If the Dwyer rumours are true perhaps we'll be seeing more of smith off the bench?

He was horribly exposed in the Saints Semi final.

Young lad Playing only his 7th 1st team game and it's against Saints in a semi final. I'm not sure what you're expecting from the young lad but he did what was asked of him and that was to do enough for 20 minutes whilst Daryl was having a blow.
