I know contracts are not worth the paper they written on these days but the days that clubs come to Wakefield and take our players seem to be history or at least more difficult now (Tom Johnstone as an example) now but we will see, I suppose all players have their price but Milky is still under contract just depends how much you want him and how much we do, if it comes to money then I would imagine if thats the driver it will happen given your backing however a swap for Harrison in my opinion would not be likely.

He wouldn't be a bad signing but I feel Patton could be at his level or close to given more game time next season. Any hb signing now should be viewed with partnering Patton in 2018.

But I feel we either don't need to replace sandow immediately and if we do look to a new signing hb would not be where I personally would look to improve.

I'm sure missing Ratchford and Patton at the start of the season due to injury is pushing the need to buy soon. It's leaving us a bit thin to say the least. We need to recruit and Miller is a super player. Really hope we get him.

18 assists at Wakefield who were 37 tries behind us, so bound to improve there, and his own try tally if he did come. He's a very elusive runner, has a kicking game (that 50 metre drop goal at Magic Weekend as one example), and does plenty of tackles.

To be honest, i haven't seen enough of him to have a proper opinion... but he is young and can obviously play a bit... what is he.. 24/25?

i would be happier with us signing this guy, than someone late 20s, early 30's with a tarnished reputation and off field problems.

I think we definitely need to sign a new HB, perhaps even desperately. Obviously Sandow has gone, but Patton also may not be available for the start of the season with his hand injury. Add to that the fact that Ratchford will miss at least the first four weeks, and the versatile Currie is also unavailable, means we are short of (experienced) alternatives for the first few games - where it is important to get a decent start. Finally, Gidley is injury prone and will leave in any case at the end of the season. No, we surely need to get someone in asap otherwise we will need to play Toby King and Morgan Smith at HB.
