Well, can't say I'm too surprised. As one of the few who didn't see such a big drama in last week's result, I similarly am not shocked tonight. Hull have struggled since the CC Final, and looked pretty average again tonight. We controlled the game well, without looking as slick in attack as last week. Main difference was ability of opposition.
Evans at centre is the key move for me. Gidley and Sandow should play if fit-it's the time of year for the big guns; but if they're not, then we shouldn't be too worried with our back-up. If they do play, then I think Ratch and Russell both have to start, so it's back to Ratch at FB (still his best position), Matty on the wing, and then a toss up between Penny and Lineham.
I don't think we especially missed Currie, which I thought would be the case (he was quiet in second half of season anyway), and Wilde covered OK. Pack still looks very good, and I think should have too much for Saints. If Clarke can keep his form (best player in the league for me in the past 2 months), we'll go awfully close this year.
Would rather be away to Saints than have home 'advantage', but I like the idea of having to beat Saints and Wigan to finally get the monkey off our back
