Never thought I would say this but I fee sorry for the true Wigan fans. Speccies are the last to be considered. There again nothing surprises me since our semi against Hudds at Salford about 4 years ago. Kick off was delayed with no reason given. It turned out that the BBC were waiting for Rory McIlroy to finish a golf tournament somewhere.

Isn't this weeks HKR game for us on Friday & not even on TV? Ridiculous having to go all that way with Friday afternoon traffic, why not play on the Sunday ?

Fans have a month to arrange shift cover and/or book the afternoon off work to get over to the game. If they want to go, there's plenty time to arrange it.

Play their semi in Mordor on a Tuesday lunchtime for all I care.

I gather that Mordor is much easier to access these days - they've built a link road from Rohan, so you can avoid all the congestion at Minas Morgul and drive straight in; so although it may still be true that one doesn't simply *walk* into Mordor, one can however drive in relative comfort.

Because we are at home to Salford the following Thursday.

Always a reason.

Just got a notification from BBC saying the Warrington v Huddersfield game has been 'postponed', this happened for the Hull & Catalans games before it was announced that we would be playing on the Friday night...
Looks like this one will be moved too then!

I think it's about time we did away with neutral semi finals now anyway.
1st and 3rd out the back get home ties.
The monies split equal though and that includes all food and drinks and corporate

It wouldn't be a fare deal Catalan get. What is the point of playing a neutral game at a ground round the corner so to speak for one team and ten miles or 0000's of miles in the case of Catalan or even a Toulouse or Toronto one day?

I can't agree RD K enjoy a neutral venue as it sets the game apart on the build up to Wembley, the problem is the amount of suitable grounds that we have and I'm not sure but do the RFL have one in Lancs and one in Yorks or does it depend who's playing? I think that we should be playing Wakefield in Huddersfield geographically, but, the grounds too big, with Wigan v Hull at Headingly.

As far as Catalans, Toulouse and Toronto are concerned, they need to play where the competition is IMO imagine Catalans playing Toronto away in a semi and Toulouse playing Widnes where would they play the Toronto Toulouse Final?....stick with tradition I say

That has a ring of truth about it.
