Who the hell signed off on their name? They have ambitions of Super League (OK, it'll never happen), but why let a new club take a name that's so close to a pre-existing club? For a sport that keeps banging on about branding, it shows how clueless they are. I bet Draper had a thing or two to say about it when he found out. Ridiculous.

Very true, the confusion amongst people in Hull has been palpable since 2006. It is a mere matter of time until someone boards a 21 bus and asks whether they can get to the Lamport Stadiun with their day rover! (Easy mistake to make, given WBT's fares these days)

Rugby league is played in all but one county. The game is slowly being taken up across the globe. We are fewer than 20 years into the post 'cold war' era and we are finally being allowed to use council run playing fields in the south.

We have plenty of people doing a damn sight more to spread the game than some of the flat cappers up north, moaning that the earth is indeed flat (someone is genuinely arguing this point elsewhere on RL Fans).
