Lots of fans calling him either poop or average.

I'm thinking he must be the most decorated prop currently playing in SL. Not a bad stat if true for a poop prop?!

Similar to Ricky Bibey then with his 2 GF winners rings. Maybe we should sign him too to give our pack that quality edge. Chris Hill doesn't have anything like the medals Bailey has got but I know which one is the better player and person.

I'm speechless its ruined our club it really has, every mouth breather up and down the country (M62) is laughing at us.

Bailey has a few fans from his time at Leeds where they loved him because he got under the skin of other teams........NO loving OTHER REASON.......... NOT ONE SINGLE RUGBY PLAYING REASON....literally he got under the skin of other teams while the rest of their squad were left to the Rugby League side of stuff......

I don't have a coaching badge a blue peter badge or a chufty badge but I know dog poop when I see it. Not one person in rugby League says wow watch out for Ryan Bailey he'll create havoc if he gets some good ball....... not one person says this....

Its a dog poop signing and im still clapping from Jon Wilkin saying this about the nice bloke four years ago
Wilkin, 27, said: "I'm embarrassed for him as a human being, not just a rugby league player.
"There are ways to win and a way to conduct yourself. He celebrates, he whoops, he squares up to our younger lads.
"I've never seen such a child play a man's game in my life.

love off Wires just love off its poop of the highest order.
fair comment ,but Wilkin even complained because he could hear the Leeds team celebrating in the dressing room in 2007

Not sure about this one but leaning to the in camp due to the fact that our pack does lack a bit of biff + anyone old enough to remember the days of Sir Les must welcome that.

loads of us remember that...and We remember Les Boyd was a top player, he was a 1982 Aussie invincible for goodness sake.......he played state of Origin, played in an NRL grand final. He was an Awesome player he was also tough....

Bailey isnt a good player....and what Biff will he bring???.you throw a punch and you get sent off in todays game...biff isnt required in the slightest smashing hard yards like chris hill is what required.

all weve got with Bailey is a big poop version of Sam Tomkins.....

There are several players who throw punches and don't get sent off.I remember a Warrington player threw a punch at Wembley right in front of the ref and stayed on the field

And I'd have Chris Hill over Bailey.....but Hill is 1st choice prop at Wire, just like Peacock was at Leeds, and much like Walmsley is at Saints.

This is the big problem with the 'anti-Bailey' brigade that they try compare him to 1st choice props. He isn't that, he's 3rd/4th choice prop who can do a job when your starters go off. At Leeds even fickle fans caved in to the criticism coming from over clubs to criticise his every move. Fact is, as an attacking prop, he's doesn't deliver enough and could easily do more. Defensively his numbers have always been very good. Hell even last year at Cas he only managed 5 games but produced 109 tackles with only 3 misses.....I'm sorry but they're good numbers regardless of his 'reputation'.

Well done. I'm sure as a leeds fan that one is imprinted into the brain as there's not a lot else to go for is there? I do remember that one slightly, granted. But there is a reason we have a certain view of him because his overwhelming contribution is to be a little sheet.

As a Wire fan is their much else to go for against him apart from exaggerating a heavy flop on Chris Riley into the worst GBH every seen on a rugby pitch???

He's not a first choice starting prop, he's a steady sub prop......describe to me how many standout memorable moments most sub props have? For some reason Bailey has to be compared to Peacock and Hill when clearly that's not been his job. As a sub prop he definatley did a better job at Leeds than a few of your recent sub props.

Never compared him to Boyd and wouldn't want to but at the end of the day if this move doesn't come off only 1 person can be blamed.

three clubs have got rid of this tool and he's 31 that is a good age for a prop.

Leeds pack has just lost Jamie Peacock...surely they would be crying out for Ryan Bailey. ..? No in fact their pack looks quite strong doesn't it...

and without Peacock and Sinfield they probably couldn't afford this nob being a senior member of the team. ...

And while we thank you for saying we should accept ordinary interchange props but we have started with carvell and Hill and brought on morley and wood. .... so thanks but ill continue to be incredibly vexed off with this signing. ..
