Wolves Under 19s v Salford - Wednesday 6pm at Crosfields : Tue May 26, 2015 6:25 pm  

Warrington Wolves Under 19s entertain Salford Red Devils tomorrow evening (Wednesday 27th May). Kick off is 6.00pm at Crosfields ARLFC, Hood Lane Recreation Ground, Hood Lane North, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 1ET.

I know it is an early kick off but if you can get along and give the lads your support it would be greatly appreciated.

The young boys are on an excellent run at the minute and have moved upto fourth place in the league table; this is the final game before the league gets split.

Please all come along if you can, always good for the players to see support on the sidelines.

Should be a decent match and Salford are improved of late and have picked up a win against Leeds under former magic hat wearing Wire favourite Martin Gleeson.

FT 30-28. Wet, windy conditions. Young Warrington side had to grind it out with both hookers having to be carried from the field.

Hey WalterWizard, I hear you've signed up 5 French lads for this age group? Are they playing for Warrington as yet? If so, how are they doing?

I read on our forum today we've signed Levy Nzoungou from France. Bit of a French invasion at this level?

I watched this game very even & entertaining game. Thought we went well considering our league position. No.13 the ginger lad for you boys has a big future. For us i thought our no,4 Jake Bibby went well along with number 7 Aaron Moore although his kicking was off on the night!

I think we are taking Benjamin and Fabien Jullien, Saloty Mendy, Yoan Veve and Mickael Goudemand but they have not arrived yet. Not sure what the arrangement is as I guess they will be over-age for next year. The Jouffret secondment seemed to go pretty well and I see that he has now been signed by Whitehaven.

Yes, Bibby was fast and elusive, could be a good prospect. Our no 13 was Harvey Livett who has just switched from Centre to Loose. IMO I fancy he will get a run out in the first team some time next year, even though he has one year left with the U19's.

The players are on loan until the end of the season with an option to sign them on permanent deals. All are 17-18 apart from Benjamin Jullien, who at 19 was in the full France squad at the end of last season and could be in first-team contention right away.

Thanks for the additional information, surprisingly the club has said nothing about this. Looking at the Avignon website, the above list appears to be virtually all their junior internationals. If so this is a very good opportunity for both us and them.

Yeah, they're all strong prospects, Goudemand and Fabien Jullien were part of the France U18s team that beat England Academy last week.
