Give him a big cheer, since he single handedly (or is that single fistedly...) lost Wigan the GF.

I think that was the way Saints fans were planning to go. Laughing at him as he lined up behind the sticks would have more impact than booing him like a pantomime villain.

It's going to be mighty interesting to see how he goes. In his position he has to be aggressive, but ANY indiscretion now will carry a heavy price for him. He'll have players winding him up constantly to try to goad him into getting sent off.

It could well ruin him as a player, it's a difficult balance to strike.

They will almost certainly try, i've noticed this season people doing it to Ashton Sims, more so than any other, he seems to have been marked down as a hothead even though i haven't really seen any evidence of it.

On Flower, Wigan...or more to the point, Wane, will use this as part of his seige mentality antics.
In public he'll be told to cool it, in the changing rooms i have no doubt Wane will want him exactly the same as he has always been.

We really should be wondering what reception the wigan fans will giving him after he cost them the grand final... however, as they are currently have no props of any note, they will be welcoming him back with open arms.

So the 6 month ban ,with time off for the close season, has turned into a 3 month ban .

Classic RFL for you. Make a massive thing out a six month ban when really its a three month ban.

Not just the RFL though is it? Every sport hands out bans that include the off season - look at Suarez. Technically a 3 month ban was about right for Flower.
