Venues Announced for New Zealand Three Match Series
The dates and venues for Novembers' three game series against New Zealand have been announced by the RFL and they are sure to get supporters talking.

Tickets for all three matches will go on general sale on the 11th March but those who register in advance for pre-sales will be able to secure their seats forty-eight hours earlier from the 9th March.

With little to choose between the two sides on their last couple of meetings, the three game series is a mouthwatering one which no English rugby league supporter will want to miss.

It's been fun.

Why do we need to secure seats? This sadly won't sell out.

It should sell out. If it doesn't the fans are as big a reason for the game not growing as anything else.

Does 50,000 people from the M62 corridor turning up at the Olympic Stadium constitute growth? Growing the game is not our job, you do not have a duty to go to this game just because it isn't in the North.

I would have thought a third game possible decider in London would attract more, especially if the appetites of the fans was whetted by the 2 previous games, but no they want to bring it back to Wigan where the RFL must be expecting less than 25k to turn up.

Hull is a guaranteed sell out, as is Wigan if the Series goes to a deciding final test. I'm really excited for London, which we should be aiming to fill. Plenty of RL fans will travel down from all over the country, as will many Londoners who simply want to experience the stadium and those who enjoyed the double header at Wembley- hopefully they are all on a marketing CRM.

Put it this way, after our last two meetings, no sports fan in their own right mind would want to miss this!

It's been fun.

I'm looking forward to it, but i don't think it will sell 50k tickets in London.

I didn't say that.

My point is, for the sport to grow and get more exposure we need more of these games, in the capital, in big stadiums with crowds. And the people who moan about the game not progressing are the same people who will be sat at home watching on TV when there is empty seats they could be sat in if they really did care.

Personally I don't think a few hours travelling to the capital city is too much to ask to watch our national team.

I agree that it is important for the games prestige that we sell out. People sat at home aren't going to look and say that's a coach trip from Batley- they'll just see a full house enjoying a great spectacle.
