I think we need to put things in perspective with last nights match, warrington had a young side out and did look like they were strangers playing together for most of the match, but in patches there was promise. A few of the younger lads looked over run and seemed to lack confidence probably due to how early it is in the season and this team with injuries hasn't had much playing time together. I agree Jack Johnson did have a quiet game last night but I think he was trying to organise, defend and attack and plug to many gaps left by the other players in front of him ,hence he couldn't impose himself on the game, the half backs need to step up,Morgan's kicking wasn't the best last night but to be fair there was a couple of dropped balls by our centres which could have led to tries and made the game completely different. I think briers will be disappointed and I expect he will want the lads to take responsibility for the performance and go out and prove themselves next match and gain some confidence and let the familiarity grow,Widnes did well in patches but as against wigan I don't think we helped ourselves and didn't take advantage of some good situations. I think next week briers will play the strongest team he can and probably give them a really tough week in training this week and deservedly so,keep the faith and keep perspective!!
