He'd be replaced with little fuss and I'd be more worried as a Wigan fan if they chose to sign a rival's fourth best prop.
Would be surprised if it happened but I certainly wouldn't be worried by it. Wigan's problem is a lack of experience in the front row with Lima leaving and Fielden expected to leave, so a bit of experience is needed, even if that experienced player isn't a top class prop.
Should we sign Scott Taylor then we've got Mossop, Taylor, Dudson & Flower in the front row, plus Prescott if he can stay fit, which should be a good front row for years to come but experience is massively important among the forwards and that's probably what is needed most. Lauaki is nearing his thirties and has some experience but he's not really a leader or a cool head.
