Of all the things we could be embarrassed at our club for, the fact Warrington voted for this half-d plan is near the top.
1. Everyone knows the quality of players isn't yet there for 14.
2. Whichever clubs are introduced will have zero time to prepare, massively exacerbating point 1.
3. The whole point Nigel Wood led his ridiculous putsch was supposedly that the game was running out of cash; increasing the size of RL will be more costly, especially since...
4. Reporting suggests Sky haven't agreed to this and aren't prepared to put up cash to produce and show an extra game each week, so those costs are likely to fall on the clubs.
It's all so tinpot it beggars belief. And it seems extremely likely they will go for an 8-team playoff, which was an absolute bag of e last time we had it.

Yeah the money distribution doesn't make sense, and it's odd the mojority of Super league clubs suddenly changed their minds and voted for it.
Makes me wonder if the clubs have been told the 2 teams coming up are going to be funded by the RFL or something?
As all the clubs going "yeah give us less and share the wealth" makes no sense, as all clubs aren't exactly making loads of money and make losses every year.

Every year we seem to change several things - more often than not several rules.
12 teams now 14.
Does it really change anything?
Wigan and Saints take most of the spoils.
A few of the rest take the odd cup and reach a GF.
Wouldn't look past those 2 next year along with KR.
