Plenty of chicken wings and cannonballs on their way then? Is this a case of 'If you can't beat them join them?' from Smith?

Have I been missing something when watching MMA? because I haven't seen either a chicken wing or cannonball tackle in any matches I've seen?

Every team practices grappling nowadays, it's just part of the game. Doesn't mean anything as malicious as chicken wings or crusher tackles, just the ability to use levers to get a quick play the ball or slow down the opposition playing the ball.
