I'm not confident at all. If a depleted Hudds side can run Saints that close and a full Wire squad can get 40 put on them at home then I've no reason to be confident. Which is good in a way as we got to the final and now I can just enjoy the day and the occassion with no expectations.

Last night Wakey played smart and we did not. They kicked for field position, often as earlly as the fourth tackle, which meant we played almost all the game in our half. When you think that our better performances usually follow good, territory grabbing kicking from Lee Briers, you do wonder why we did not do this yesterday. We also had no patience and tried to score off every set of six. I can't help wondering if the side were told to play yesterday in an unusual style so as to give minimum clues to whatever Hudds spies were watching last night.
