but my wife and daughter did - they got back at 8.30 after leaving at 8.30 this morning.they really enjoyed their day out - a great journey down- good company - just spoilt by a game of rugby - they say the reserves played well - they won 31-30 - chris bridge drop goal to win it.
i enjoyed the cas/ hudds game - played by people earning far less than our "superstars"- who tackled and ran with more commitment than we will see all year.
i despair of my team and the lack of effort and pride in the short - nine defeats on the bounce now- hull kr next up - why can we expect any change? what will they do in training to correct the slide?
other posters have said that briers and others should be dropped but who have we got to bring in?- we know that and, more importantly, they know that.
it did,nt cost alot for their trip today- company car and fuel etc-but it really annoys me to know that players are continuning to take money from the club and not caring - if i performed like that at work i would be out of a job-this should be an interesting week!!
our reserves played well maybee there should be acouple more young players in the starting 13 next v hull kr , wish i stayed at home insted wasting money , just hope the players have woken up by the performance that they gave and the fans boooing them off the field again but tbh i dont think we can improve
