While a good SL prop he was always going to be average in the NRL.
Being the lesser abelled brother a move back to SL must've always been in the back of his mind if he wanted to stay on a decent contract.

Well if the choice is The beautiful Coogie Bay with his family ( I've been, its an amazing place ) or The delights of Salford Precinct with no family it doesn't take a genius to work that one out. He'd be a fool to come here. He'd be better demoting and playing in the NSW Cup than being homesick here.IMHO. They're a close nit Family the Burgess's and i respect that Family/Lifestyle would undoubtedly come first.

He wasnt that good in SL, in fact he wasnt even a prop, he played 2nd row (that may have been the problem) I remember getting nervous every time someone passed to him as he was a bit of a liability with knock ons

Ok from what your saying stay away, although to be fair he did go ok for Souths when he played.
Can't see it happening anyway.
