Salford might just be stealing a march on the rest by going for a big back line who can help share the work load around. I accept the new interchange rule change will discourage the use of short spell impact players but just because a player is physically big doesn't mean he isn't capable of playing longer minutes with the right conditioning. Clubs will now inevitably change their training methods and put a higher emphasis on endurance over explosive power to fully exploit this. Furthermore I think genetically big players will naturally over time adapt to playing longer minutes when they are having to do this on a regular basis. I think the biggest casualty of this change will be that props in Superleague probably won't play beyond the age of 32-33 unlike recently with Morley, Peacock and Leuluai etc.
