yes agree with that Redrum. Our perceived 2 hardest games coming right at the end of the 8's and hopefully by then we will have a minimum of 4 wins if not 5 and in good form. Could have been a lot worse.

We should be quite relaxed going into the final two games, expect us to win the first 5.

I reckon we will end up with 8 points, with losses to Leigh, Widnes and Hull KR.. If we don't hit the ground running against Wakefield, I'll be starting the trenches for the battle!!!!!

Halifax away on a Saturday

I'm worried, very worried. We should have enough, but this is Salford.

I think Leigh will beat us home or away (they will bring huge away following and probably outnumber us), but we should be able to beat Bradford at away although it is far from a certainty. Halifax away and Sheffield home should be certainties. We've managed to beat Wakefield twice already, but only just anything could happen in that one. We never perform at Widnes and Hull KR is anyone guess.

Leigh don’t concern me (and I mean that in the least condescending tone possible) even after our earlier defeat to them this season in the cup. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a very good team and I fancy them to achieve promotion at Wakefield’ expense but I just cant see anything past a Salford win.

When we played them earlier this season, we were missing Chase, Hauraki and J.Griffin then we lost Dobson and Sa’u early which messed us up completely. We also had Wayne Godwin starting at 9 that day too. Even all that taken into consideration, it still took a crazy mistake from BJB which gifted them the win.

Widnes and Hull KR are the toughest games of the bunch, but our recent performances at both these grounds leaves me thinking we’ll win at least one of the two.

I agree completely JGR, I fancy us at home to just shade it. Momentum is key in rugby and if we can build some over the first few games then I honestly think we will all be thinking why was we at all worried. Were not a bad side we're just a self destructing penalty machine
