I fancy Warrington for top spot this year
In terms of us.... I think, as I did last year, that 8th will be a good season anything above would be very good and I think 6th would be our best hope. Pretty much every team has strengthened, losing 2 teams means there will be no easy games. Any of Hull KR, Widnes, Cas, Hull FC and us for 7th and 8th spots. Wakefield would have to stay pretty much injury free to have a shout but they have a surprisingly strong first 17
I can't see us finishing above Wigan, Saints, Warrington, Leeds or Catalans. Huddersfield have much more experienced and settled team than us. Cas could go either way depending on how their new HBs and hooker gel. Out of the 'top' 5 I think Leeds are most at risk of having a poor season
I am excited about our squad but man for Man we're behind the top teams, have a lot of new players to get to play as a team (again), have a new first choice HB combo to gel (again), little strength in depth in key creative positions - HB and Hooker, and a rookie (but very promising) coach. So to finish above 8th would be fantastic.
Not being negative as I'm really excited about the season and I really like the look of Harris's attacking structures last year and you could see them again against Swinton but I expect a few close losses against the top teams and if 2 of Chase, Dobbo, Fages and Lee are injured regularly we might struggle
