I have just been told by a friend of mine that we are expected to join Bradford in administration within the next 2 weeks! Don't know how accurate or reliable this is but it could make sense with the Matty Smith rumour on another thread and the possible release/sale of DJ?

i heard this a while back, think we maybe ok till end of season, yet we get luke Adamson saying the future is bright for salford (in the M.E.N) when all these rumors of smith going pattern going DJ going gleeson going and going administration.

yes but i mean with all theses players going and having no money how can the future be bright at salford

Obviously I hope not but it would be interesting to see if the RFL bent over backwards to help us through it and paid our players wages ETC ETC ETC like Bradford.

Can't see it being allowed to happen by the backers behind the scenes unless there is someone in place to buy in afterwards, we're not going to make the top 8 so going into administration would hardly cripple us in the league and might allow the new owners to start from afresh.

All hear say and conjecture though.

Wouldn't suprise me if true, it's obvious we're struggling for cash but all companies are.

But this friend does he/she work for the club, own the club, work for the clubs bank or is it just someone adding 2 and 2 and get 4 1/2?

i read it in the rugby weekly magazine a while back that we are really struggling. Hope wilky can get an investor and quick. Theres also a good article about us from Martyn Sadler about why investors should buy salford in the rugby express

How many rumours do we want today ?
I heard the other week that Cas are close to total meltdown, also heard London may be packing it all in.
The Bradford situation has caused all sorts of rumours to start flying about.
Until I see it oficcially from the club that we are in Administration and that any of our players are leaving then I will not listen to any of them

According to the font of all knowledge the MEN we are linked with Bradford Centre Keith Lulia so I'd find it hard to believe we'd be looking at picking at their bones if we're about to implode ourselves.

As for Keith Lulia, yes please! If we can't keep hold of Gleeson then he wouldn't be a bad replacement at all!
