We should run a book on when we get the first Cas fan on here telling us that "the so-called Dr Cockarse is doing it all wrong trying to win it with kids and needs to spend some of his alleged billions on experience.

I don't want to see Theo primarily as a hooker, there is no need for him to be utilised there either seen as though we have both Tommy Lee and Liam Hood for 2015. I would much rather see us go with one of either Lee or Hood, with Theo on the bench with him being utilised as an 'impact' player similar to Rob Burrow whether that be at 9, 7 or 6.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

I can’t see Morley getting as much game as he did last season so I’m looking forward to seeing some of the young lad step up. In particular I’m excited to see how Carl Foster goes, hopefully he can become one of a string of young props from the championship (ok I know he was only technically a saints player) to make an impact in super league. I’m also excited to see how Mason Caton-Brown progresses, he started off like a house on fire, and made an immediate impact on the team and positive impression on the supporters, I think this was due to the lack of speed we had earlier in the season. With a full preseason under him, I can only see him improving, but at the moment Josh Griffin would be above him for a starting spot I’d imagine.

I’m also keen to see how Theo will be used this year and if Niall Evalds can continue his form from last season it might be difficult for Ben Jones-Bishop to get in above him! Hopefully we also start the season with a fully fit Kevin Locke, we have seen glimpses of what he can do, but it’s exciting to think he was probably only playing at about 50%.

Add into the mix strike players such as Johnson, Sa'u, Hock, and grafters such as Dixon, Hansen, Walne. I've not even mentioned the half back partnership of Chase and Dobson either, then it is a very exciting team.

On paper we have the team to challenge the top 6, no doubt about it, but remember peeps this is Salford so I won’t be getting too carried away and I'd settle for 8th!!

Groat could be the surprise package.
This guy has a pedigree at junior level, and not embarrassed himself in NRL.
His highlights are on YouTube

happy to wait until they are all back , done some preseaon and we've had a chance to see some of the new guys, in friendlies.
Dobson , Hauraki we've seen with other SL sides. BJB , not sure how he's recovering or whether he'll as quick post recovery .
Groat ?, don't know enough about him , it'll be a toss of a coin whether he have a new Craig Stapleton or a new Vic Mauro.
the championship/ younger signings ? Liam Hood, Carl Forster, Luke Menzies , Brad England, George Griffin.
then we will have Adam Walne also back fit , and hopefully MCB with a bit more timber on .

Kevin Locke
Greg Johnson
Junior Sa'u
Josh Griffin/Mason Caton-Brown (I think Griffin at this current time but giving MCB time it could be him)
Ben Jones-Bishop
Rangi Chase
Michael Dobson
Adrian Morley
Tommy Lee
Lama Tasi
Harrison Hansen
Gareth Hock
Jordan Walne (may surprise a few)
----------------------------------------------
Theo Fages
Darrell Griffin
Tony Puletua
Weller Hauraki

Andrew Dixon
Brad England
Niall Evalds
Jon Ford
Carl Forster
George Griffin
Matt Groat
Liam Hood
Luke Menzies
Steve Rapira
Adam Walne
Jason Walton

I hope that looking at that the Dr/Harris may just have a couple more up their sleeve, a centre 3/4 maybe and an experienced gnarly prop. Do we have any update on Rapira's situation, is he coming back?
