If we know the coach is inadequate don't you think the players do! My point being that I think the team as a whole has very little guidance from above and because of that are going it alone on the field.
Taking from everyones posts/topics on here we can all agree they look as a team : disjointed - flat - dominated - lost - ill disciplined - unfit - and mentally unhappy. This isn't a team. It's a collection of players. Some good some average.
On a individual level we have some fast - powerful - talented players and unless the occasion grabs them (saints) they are uninspired - out enthused - and out played - it's times like these they need guidance, and need inspiration.
If they feel even 10% of what fans know they won't mentally back themselves as a team. Leaving themselves wide open for a mental and physical drumming. As we've witnessed in the past couple of seasons.
Our result in Cardiff and the response from our coach can only result in one outcome. Put Malc in charge, at least the players would follow his game plan and respect his decisions.
It's now a case of damage limitation for our teams sake and most importantly our club. He cannot be allowed to bring our club into disrepute for the last ever season at The Willows.
One thing very noticeable to me was how the team celebrated or should I say lack of it when we scored a try. There was little enthusiasm and even bordered on nonchalant.
thats a good point about not showing much emotion when we score a try!!! whenever i coach i get the players to call 10 seconds. thats what theyve got to get to the try scorer!! a simple exercise but it shows the opposition how close we are. that goes for if where winning or getting flogged. it shows togetherness through thick n thin
