It makes me wonder how we managed years ogo when players were part time and had jobs and played loads of mid week games I know the game is faster but is it any better for it

There was also little or no comprehension of warm-up/warm-down, rest, core strength or cardio. Hence a lot of players - pro & amateur - including myself, are fecked in their middle age.

Yes what you say is true but we do not know about the future of the players who play now they may be worse
