I am glad that I am not the only one to notice the "symmetry" of certain posters.

Although I will admit that this is just an opinion and not a fact, as it will be impossible to prove or disprove for that matter, there does seem to be a concerted effort to hijack most threads from a core group of posters with near identical agendas.......
JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Wakefield is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

You woke this morning, typed in RLFANS.COM and posted 6 comments i threads, 5 of which, including this one, added nothing to the tpic under discussion, but instead just baiting me.
The Irony of you accusing me of derailing a thread is somewhat delicious.
Back on topic.

Hector has said the Skolars are going nowhere. That's good enough for me!

This could all just be an idea, that someone has got hold of and made something out of nothing.

I often think about buying Wakefield Trinity but I don’t have the money; one day I might though so if anyone wants to take anything from that and run with it, be my guest ;)

Wow the irony from the once banned mouth of the south....

You're a protected species on here. Nobody likes your arrogant know it all attitude.

All you ever do is derail topics. We're all yet to see you actually start some interesting threads.....

Thats a little rich to be honest.

You have been a member here for a month and your obsession with gutterfax is scary, which brings me to an observation...

How would you know so much bout gutterfax, seeing as you have only been here a month and the username gutterfax hasnt been around in a good while

Just so you know, Paul Rowley is highly thought of here in Toronto.

Sorry if this has been said, but there's 6 pages and there's too much empty vessels making too much noise for me to read through.

But my question is: Why buy a British club just to relocate them to the US? I mean, is it just for their spot in the league? Because I don't think it'd be that hard to just set up a team in wherever you're wanting to set it up and then apply to join the league. Toronto have proved that.
To be the man.... I forget how the rest of that goes

If I was a rich fella and wanted to set up a team outside of the host country, then I would be looking at setting it up in my own back yard so to speak.

Bringing a team over in a Ikea style fashion will not get the local populous interested and involved.

Start local, involve local talent and areas of business, get the community involved. Start from scratch and work from there with involvement from the area.

Little acorns and all that.

Joff's been busy on southstander resurrecting 3 year-old threads started by a poster called Mario. Make of that what you will.
"The problem when you play Leeds is that they are a huge 'confidence' side. If you get on top of them, they will cower and go away, but when they get in front their chests puff out and they start whooping as they make tackles. " (Jon Wilkin)

“Leeds just wander around looking like they’re doing nothing” (Jon Wilkin)

"Jon Wilkin's tight pants and coffee shop have not helped him to see the bigger picture or allowed him to get a firm grip on reality." (leeds owl)
