JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
Eric Perez is not the owner. David Argyle is. Westleighjim said the Toronto owner hasn’t been seen in weeks.
Eric Perez is a Minority shareholder and Director, so an owner, albeit a minority one. If you feel the need to lambast Leigh at every turn, at least be accurate when doing it.
Back on thread. The well read folk at TotalfacistRL.com seem to think he's trying to buy a seat at Fridays meeting, as he doesn't currently have one. Again, not sure of 25% permits him a seat, but it assuredly breaks RFL operational rules as to multiple club ownership.
Again. Not sure why Hector would be interested in selling any part of his club? He's built it from the bottom up and has shown what can be done on a shoestring....the Capital Challenge and the Friday Night Lights are streets ahead in terms of putting down roots and attracting interest.....both are projects they've stuck with and both are seen as "must attend" events in the capitals RL circles.

No...he's just a very clever Troll, who wraps his trolling in a layer of RL talk......kind of like dropping the inaccurate claims regarding the Leigh board in this thread......it'll get lost and be forgotten, but it was 100% designed to get a rise out of Leigh fans and it did......The self titled King is very similar in his posting style which points to "off board" collusion between posters......something I know happens on trashcan forums like Leagueunlimited....it's a type of cyberbully tactic that is hard to police until the idiot okers boasted about it
Back on topic. This, if true, is a watershed moment for the sport. If Argyle is permitted to ride roughshod over the rules, then we may as well have licensing brought back now and be done with it, because he is essentially trying to buy the game. He has plenty of cash, of that there's no doubt, but if he buys the top tier, the rest will be left to wither and die......he'll raid the NSW/QLND comps for players, cherry pick the best brits and the rest will be left to fend for themselves.....and he's doing this on the back of 2 winning seasons with the most expensive side outside of SL, a contra Sponsor and thousands of free tickets to a fortnightly beer festival....the minute he had to spend REAL CASH and fly over 4 sides for the 8's he whined like a sheila.
The more I learn about Toronto Wolfpack and their owner, the less I like......let them into SL if they win their spot, but there after....same rules, same alternate weekly fixtures, same cap and same jeopardy.......

Another conspiracy theory. You are Alex Jones, infowars creator and I claim my £5.

As denials go, that's pretty limp. Usually it's "I'm not Le Bron/chorley Jean and now Joff and the RL realist"......and as I have said elsewhere, it is my right to assume that you are part of a collective, just as it's you're right to continue posting inane drivel
